OpenTeams Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
The essentials: treat everyone with respect. Avoid insults, demeaning remarks, and unprofessional behavior. Remember that we are a global, diverse community.
Our Commitment
We firmly believe in the strength and vibrancy that a diverse community brings to software development and scientific advancement. Diversity not only broadens our potential contributor base and idea pool but also challenges our assumptions, driving innovation and development.
Recognizing Specific Identities
While our diversity statement is universally inclusive, we acknowledge the specific challenges faced by identities affected by systemic discrimination. OpenTeams invites everyone to engage with our community, valuing each unique identity and background.
Introduction & Scope
This code of conduct is a pledge from everyone in the OpenTeams community and is expected to be upheld in all OpenTeams-related activities and by anyone affiliated with OpenTeams. It applies across all community spaces, including digital platforms, events, and any communication channels, embodying our ideals of a collaborative, inclusive culture.
